Doruntina Uka is a people and planet enthusiast, passionate about community and creating cities that are equitable, sustainable, and connected. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Brock University and a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Living Centre, where she learned how to work with nature to create regenerative systems that support people and the environment. She also studied GIS and Urban Planning at Fanshawe College, deepening her understanding of how spaces and people interconnect. Doruntina runs a small market garden in Shedden and leads programs at The PATCH, including ORCHARD, supporting people to grow skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships with the land and their community.
