  • Build your garden to new heights: DIY workshop

    Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 6:00-8:00pm

    Join Gabor Sass in this hands-on workshop on how to build raised garden beds from palettes. We will cover the general advantages and disadvantages of raised-beds, discuss the range of materials and styles used and learn how to assemble a simple bed with basic tools.

  • Small is beautiful: Gardening in small spaces

    Friday, May 17, 2024, 6:30-8:30pm

    This hands-on workshop will detail workable and affordable solutions to gardening in small spaces like postage stamp backyards, balconies, and window-sills. We will review container gardening, vertical gardening, raised-bed gardening, balcony gardening, indoor gardening, and square-inch gardening. Participants will be encouraged to design their own garden space and assemble one container garden to take home.

  • The healing garden: Grow your own herbal teas at home

    Saturday, June 8, 2024, 9:30-11:30am

    Come and learn about the top 10 tea plants that you could easily grow in your garden at home. In this hands-on workshop you will learn about plant propagation, best time for harvest and tips for processing and storing your tea leaves. Participants will be encouraged to plant a container garden with a tea plant of their choice to take home.
