When: 2 days a week, 9am to 12pm, Tuesday and Thursday (Sept. 6th to Oct 27th)

Description:
In this workshop participants will learn about gardening, take part in the fall harvest, play games and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Participants are taught hands-on skills along with general concepts of urban agriculture. Participants are introduced to composting, water harvesting, simple food preservation techniques as well turning the attained skills into self-sufficiency actions at home, community gardening projects or employment opportunities. The workshop is held at Cavendish Community Food Hub where all the growing is done in raised garden-beds that are fully accessible. No prior gardening experience is required.
